SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Time

Most orders will ship within 1-2 business days, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Shipping Carrier

We ship via Canada Post to all destinations serviced by Canada Post within Canada and internationally.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • Orders $250 CAD and over: Free standard shipping within Canada
  • Orders under $250 CAD: Calculated Canada Post rates apply
  • Hazardous materials surcharge: $20 CAD additional fee for items classified as dangerous goods (chemicals, solvents, acids, flammable substances)
  • International orders: Calculated rates apply; customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary by destination and service level selected:

  • Within Quebec: 2-5 business days (standard)
  • Within Canada: 3-9 business days (standard)
  • International: 6-15 business days (varies by destination)

Transit times are estimates provided by Canada Post and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control.

Tracking

All shipments include tracking information, which will be provided via email once your order ships.

International Shipping

We ship non-hazardous items internationally to destinations serviced by Canada Post. Please note:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, acids, flammable substances, gas appliances) cannot be shipped internationally
  • Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, import fees, and brokerage charges
  • International orders may be subject to customs inspections and delays
  • Delivery times vary by destination country

Hazardous Materials Shipping

Items classified as dangerous goods (chemicals, solvents, acids, flammable substances, gas appliances, etc.) require special handling and are subject to:

  • A $20 CAD hazardous materials handling surcharge
  • Shipping within Canada only (no international shipping)
  • Compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
  • Possible shipping restrictions or delays

Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse shipment of certain items to specific destinations based on carrier restrictions, regulatory requirements, or safety considerations.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately at service@ultratool.ca or 514.393.1991. We will work with Canada Post to resolve the issue.
